This Privacy Policy explains how Texas AI Developers ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Clauso AI mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Clauso AI is built privacy-first. We do not operate a server that stores your contracts. Your generated documents are saved on your device and in your own private Apple iCloud account. We never sell your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Contract details. The information you enter into contract forms (party names, addresses, dates, amounts, descriptions) and any messages you send to the AI Wizard or AI editing features.
Information collected automatically
- Usage analytics. Anonymous events about how the App is used (e.g., a contract was generated, a screen was opened) to help us improve the App. These do not include the contents of your contracts.
- Device & diagnostic data. Basic technical info such as app version, device model, and OS version.
- Subscription status. Whether you have an active subscription, managed through Apple and our paywall provider.
Approximate location (optional)
- If you grant permission, the App uses your approximate location solely to determine your U.S. state so contracts reference the correct governing law. We convert your approximate location into a state and do not store precise coordinates or track your movements. You can decline and choose your state manually, and change it anytime in Settings.
2. How We Use Information
- To generate, review, and modify contracts based on the details you provide.
- To tailor contracts to your selected state and language (English or Spanish).
- To operate, maintain, and improve the App.
- To manage subscriptions and the free usage allowance.
- To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or technical issues.
3. AI Processing of Your Contract Details
To generate and analyze contracts, the details you enter are sent—through our secure relay—to a third-party AI provider (currently Google's Gemini API) for processing. This data is transmitted only to produce your requested document and is not used by us to build a profile of you. Our relay runs on Cloudflare infrastructure and is designed to forward requests without permanently storing the contents of your contracts.
